If you don’t have enough time in your hands to mow your own lawn and you have issues hiring someone to do the job for you, getting a robotic lawn mower might just be the solution you need.

These portable battery powered machines allows you to automate the cutting of your lawn grasses, freeing up time for you to carry out other tasks and projects.

Unlike push, work behind or ride-on mowers, you don’t have to physically push or ride on the mower to get your lawn grasses cut.

In fact, you don’t even have to be physically present for it to work. You just have to program and create a schedule of the specific times and days you want it to mow your lawn using the mobile app it comes with, and it will follow it without your intervention.

If it’s time for it to ride out and get the job done, it will start up, leave the charging station, and start mowing your lawn all by itself.

When it’s time for it to recharge, it will ride back to the charging station without your intervention and begin recharging.

Once it’s recharged, it will ride out again and continue mowing the lawn until its completed it or the schedule you set for it.

It’s that easy.

Here in this article, we’ve reviewed and listed the 5 best robotic lawn mowers, so you can choose the most suitable one for your needs.

Interesting list but surely the ability to cut to the edge of the grass or not needs reviewing and reporting. I cannot believe that people really want to have to trim the edges manually after buying such lovely machines to automate the job.

    1. Yeah, you’re right, these machines don’t have the ability to edge the lawn automatically, but I believe they’re worth the money considering all the time and effort they save you. Edging won’t take as much time as actually mowing the lawn, so you can probably do that yourself in your spare time.

  2. I have an acre and a half with several obstacles: raised beds, mobile home, shed, etc. Which one can navigate obstacles the best and cut a huge lawn?

    1. Any one of them can navigate obstacles properly. You just have to install the boundary wires properly around your yard and around all the obstacles you don’t want it to hit, like the raised beds, shed and your mobile home. The Husqvarna Automower is one good option to go for.
